David began his insurance career in 1987 with NatWest Insurance before specialising in Professional Indemnity following his move to Cabot Blackmore in 1996. Since then, he has built extensive experience across Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines, working with a range of independent and global brokers and advising clients of all sizes across diverse professions, sectors and industries.

In recent years, David has focused on leading and developing Professional Indemnity teams, combining strong technical expertise with a client-focused approach. He joined Manchester Underwriting Management in June 2026, bringing almost four decades of industry experience to the Professional Indemnity underwriting team.
