Manchester Underwriting Agencies Limited owns the majority of MUM's issued share capital. We are developing a specialty insurance business accross a number of lines of insurance, initially Professional Indemnity.

We are interested in

• Top quality people who share our vision and who are capable of helping us to develop either our existing lines of business or to enter new or complementary lines where we can add and build real value.  People might join our existing team or we might help them build a business within our group – it all depends on their situation.
• Acquiring businesses. These are our criteria:
  
  • Quality businesses - great businesses will thrive in our group.  We have neither the inclination nor the time to fix troubled companies
  • Accretive, complementary or non-correlating – we are interested in acquiring businesses that can help us grow what we have, complement our existing offering or even enter new areas
  • Books of business – we are interested in acquiring the renewal rights to books of business that would be accretive to our current product lines
